Independent thought and research may be necessary to answer some of these questions.  Where possible there are hints for Google key words searches.

1) Who develops and passes a United States budget?  (Hint:  High School U.S. Government class)
     a) the President
     b) the U.S. House of Representatives
     c) We the People
     d) the Chairman of the Federal Reserve

2) In 2006, which political party controlled the U.S. House and what was the budget deficit that year for FY2007? (Google - budget deficit history)  162

3) In January 2007, which political party took over control of both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House, and what was the budget deficit that year for FY2008?  (Google - budget deficit history)   455

4)  Did the U.S. budget deficit almost triple between 2006 and 2007?  What party controlled the Congress when that happened?  (Google - budget deficit history)  162-455

5)  Did the U.S. budget deficit more than triple again between 2007 and 2008?  What party controlled the Congress when that happened?  (Google - budget deficit history)

6)  Is the U.S. budget deficit in each of the last two years almost 8 times larger than it was in 2006?  (Google - budget deficit history)  162-1294/1299

7)  Which political party has controlled the U.S. Senate since January 2007 and the U.S. House between January 2007 and January 2011 when these budget deficits exploded?  (Google - budget deficit history)

8)  In January 2007, name the Senator who became Chair of the Senate Banking Committee and the Representative who became Chair of the House Financial Services Committee.

9)  What has been the effect on the housing markets of the Dodd-Frank laws that required banks to lend money to home buyers who could not afford to pay it back?  (These loans came to be known as NINJA loans - No Income No Job or Assets).

10)  What has been the effect on the federal financial institutions known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when these bad home loans came on the markets?

11)  If we can assume it is true that Pres. George W. Bush and his political party drove the economic bus into the ditch, who has been at the steering wheel and running the gas pedal since January 2007, and how is that working out for you?

Maybe your union has more members, benefits, job security, and even jobs?

Oh, I know, maybe gasoline and home heating costs are lower because the caribou are not having to step over the pipeline?

Or maybe your IRAs, pensions, and savings funds are paying better dividends?  (Note that list did not include Social Security, because those people have not had a raise since President Obama came into office, although they may get a few dollars this year).

Last question:  What has your party done for you since 2007?  How are you better off today than you were in 2006?  Are you better off than you were in December 2007?  How do you plan to use your vote next time you get the chance?

Refute with facts and sources of information only please.

This message was NOT brought to you Caribou Barbie and Sly FOX.

Okay, let's try the recent history of the unemployment rate.  (Google - unemployment rate history)

Year     Low        High     Notes
2001    4.2%      5.7%     9/11 WTC attack
2002    5.7%      6.0%
2003    5.7%      6.3%
2004    5.4%      5.8%
2005    4.9%      5.4%
2006    4.4%      4.8%
2007    4.4%      4.9%     Majority control of U.S. Congress changes Jan. 2007
2008    4.8%      7.2%
2009    7.6%      10%      Pres. Obama sworn in
2010    9.4%      9.9%
2011    8.8%      9.1%     (as of July 2011)

Yep, it's NOT working.

Here's a great idea, let's stage an occupy/protest movement.  Deflect attention from where the fault lies because the facts aren't looking so good.  Give them something or someone else to blame so they don't look at the facts.  Damage some city vehicles and parks, a few assaults, gets some arrests on the news, make it like a Generation X - Woodstock.  We can call them all patriots.  Our new campaign slogan can be "Winning the Future".  No wait, that abbreviates as "WTF".

That was a good video.  So when is the "Occupy White House" rally that will protest the budget deficits, the housing collapse, and the unemployment rate that have run amok since the change in majority rule in January 2007 ?

Oh, how I miss Bill.  I'll take a sex and perjury scandal, a house, and a job over a budget deficit any time.

At least give me a glimmer of hope that the Dem's will give us a liberal candidate next year, instead of the socialist they have now.  Wouldn't that be great to have a choice between a moderate liberal and a moderate conservative?  Instead they both swing so far towards their parties extremes, and then claim the other is a party of No because they won't go along with the extreme agenda (and BOTH parties are guilty of that).

Oh where, oh where have the liberal defenders gone?  Strange how a simple statement of facts make them retreat.  Wonder how they will vote next time when the facts are so obvious and the ideology has so failed them?

Where are the liberal defenders?

President O-waa-waa has told the nation many times (like oh, maybe a hundred or more) that "the other party drove the economy into the ditch" and that he "inherited this mess".

Since there is no defense of the way these numbers have gone since O-waa-waa, Scary Harry, and Fancy Nancy took over, does it mean that voting for their re-election proves you are not an informed and intelligent voter?

Maybe there are behind-the-scenes plans in the works to give us a real choice with a moderate liberal instead of the socialist extreme they have now?  Or are we going to continue with extremes on the left screaming that the right is extreme.

(I miss Bill).
